He is survived by: his husband Randy Ehrke; his mother JoAnn Smoody (Leonard); his stepdaughters, Atlea Ehrke and Evelyn Ehrke; his sisters, Penny Jo Janke and Deborah Manteufel (Alan); his sister-in-law Lydia Zabel; his stepsiblings, Mike Smoody, Tom Smoody, Mary Zabel (Joe Buchko) and Peter Smoody (Tonya); his stepsibling's children, Jessica Durham (Brian), Marcus Watson (Ashley Altman) and Dakota Watson (Cole VanLinn); and his granddaughter Vanessa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
