With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David R. Smith of Onalaska, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Smith and Juanita Smith; his son David Jr. Smith; and his siblings, Lois Faas, Stanley (Phyllis), Ernie, Melvin, Gilbert, Ronald and Donald Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Hoscheit); his children, Lynn Oynes (Terry) and Mike Smith (Lauren); his grandchildren, Terra Noe (Nick), Sarah Cook (Josh), Allison Bartz (Nick), Kade, Mason and Hadley Smith; his great grandchildren, Piper and Levi Cook; his siblings, Anita Goldbeck, Gloria Kelly (Donnie) and Harold Smith (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Faas and Karen Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
