He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Hansen; his daughter Susan Solie; and his siblings, Ted Solie (Catherine) and Doris (Roy Bruchman). He is survived by: his family David A. Solie of Onalaska; his children, David Jr. (Janice) and Sarah (Tim Hemesath); his grandchildren, Kelly McMahon (Matt), David III (Alexis), Katie Solie and Grace Hemesath; his great grandchildren, Elanora and Elizabeth McMahon; and his nieces and nephews, Catherine Roberts, Virginia Emmons, Laurie Carlson, Theodore, Steve and Bruce Bruchman.
In lieu of flowers, the family will distribute any gifts received to the causes Dave supported.
