We bid farewell to Jennifer Philomen (Checota) Stevens (Onalaska, Wisconsin), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 12, 2026 at the age of 80. Jennifer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Checota and Rachael Checota (Schmitt); and her sister Penelope Carew. She is survived by: her husband Russell Stevens of Holmen, WI; her daughter Jessica Gobel (Matt) of Onalaska, WI; her grandchildren, Katelin, Amy and John; and her siblings, Joseph Checota (Ellen) of Milwaukee, WI, Becky Checota of Walnut Creek, CA and Monica Paoli of San Rafael, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
