It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ekberg of Onalaska, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pieter Beek and Teuntje Van Beek; her husband Edward Ekberg; her daughters, Barb Kiehne and Sue Ekberg; and her siblings, Florence Stamos, Harry Van Beek, Nicholas Van Beek, Peter Van Beek and John Van Beek.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Hilton (Dick); her grandchildren, William Hilton (Elizabeth), Jennifer Parsons (Brian), Han Auyeung, Paul Kiehne and Korin Sackmann (Dan); her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Evan Hilton, Elanore, Abel Parsons and William Sackmann; and her sons-in-law, Gary Kiehne and Jim Auyeung.
