Lawrence J. Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 6, 2026, Lawrence J. Smith of Onalaska, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond T. Smith and Dorothy M. Smith (Jerue); his in-law Robert Matthew Bunton (Mary); his sisters, Shirley Goyette and Virginia Borck; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Goyette and Donald Borck.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Marella "Maree" Smith (Bunton); his children, Colin Lawrence Smith (Shelby) and Kari L. Smith; his sister Theresa M. Hanifl; his siblings-in-law, Emily Jean Kerl (Dennis) and Robert Mark Bunton (Sue); and his son Scott D. Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Larry's family requests that donations be made to Good Shepherd church, WAFER of La Crosse, Salvation Army of La Crosse, and the Mississippi Valley Conservancy.
