He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zein and Dorothy Zein; his uncles, James Larkin and Brud; his aunt Eleanor Zernecke; his cousin Herb Zernecke; his uncle Bernie Zein (Illa); Dorthy Zein (Larkin).
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his sons, Bryan Saxe and Aaron Zein (Aly Catacutan); his granddaughter Amelia Saxe; his pet Leia; his sister Patricia Battaglia (Richard); and his nephew James Battaglia.
Mike was connected with the Alzheimer's Association, including a study of children of parents with Alzheimer's through UW Madison. The family has requested memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory at https://events.alz.org.
