He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Swenson and LaVonne Swenson (Anderson); his stepmother Shirley Swenson (Sharon Swenson); his stepson Randy Purtell; and his stepbrother Jim Solberg.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Conant Swenson; his stepchildren, Jessie Baijnauth (Rock), James Jensen (Kristine) and Deb Sheldon; his siblings, Randy (Dawn), Eric (Joan), Jeanne Wilke (Steve) and Bonnie Folkerts (Dave); and his stepsiblings, Steve Solberg (Diane), Tom Solberg (Vicki), Dan Solberg, Mike Solberg, Mary Solberg (Patrick), Linda Losen (Dave) and Nancy Solberg. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Myron's honor to support the Gundersen Cardiac Fund of the Gundersen Foundation or the Animal Program at Clearwater Farm.
