It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy A. Tolvstad of Onalaska, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Nancy find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard L. Westerhouse and Nellie Westerhouse (Dahlby). She is survived by: her children, Carol Krogan (Bryan) and John; her sister Barbara Thompson of South Dakota; and her close friend Lois Riniker. She is also survived by niece and nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the The Gathering Place (133 Mason St, Onalaska, WI 54650). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred as her family will direct them to Nancy's favorite charity.
