He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer M. Nelson and Marian E. Nelson (Gutow); and his siblings, Diane and Milton. He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas (Jane) and Bruce (Rita); and his nieces and nephews, Catherine (Ryan), Kimberlee (John), Jeanne (Chad), Matt (Billie), Chris and Troy. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blair Park.
