It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven L. Esser of Onalaska, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Esser and Beulah Esser (Haney); and his brother-in-law Chris McMichael. He is survived by: his sisters, Chris Esser, Cathy Butterfield (Jim) of Holmen and Linda McMichael of Osceola, IN; his nieces and nephews, Rachel Hanson, Jacob Hanson (Steph), Alison Butterfield (Tristan Schmidtknecht), Morgan Butterfield, Alexis Reese (Will), Andrew, Carol Slabaugh (Brandon) and Erica Schott (William); and his uncle Bev (Ron Esser). He is also survived by great- nieces and nephews; One aunt.
