She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Herlitzka (Tudy Gautschz) and Bubby Herlitzka (Clarence); her brothers, Bud Herlitzka, Dan Herlitzka (Reny) and Tim Herlitzka; her in-laws, Chet and Beulah Christenson; and her sister-in-law Jan Neumann.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ann Jamesson, Rich Herlitzka (Carol), Peter Herlitzka (Sherry), Joe Herlitzka (Tina), Jim Herlitzka, Jean La Fluer (Mike) and Kris Liebl (Randy); her husband Gary Christenson; her son Rick Christenson (Kari); her granddaughters, Alli Christenson (Nate) and Paige Christenson (Jake); and her great grandchild Archer Christenson-Shurtleff.

Dad was able to care for Mom at home for 6 years after her Alzheimer's diagnosis, thanks to Kris and Randy's help.
