He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roerdink and Eleanor Roerdink (LeMahieu); his grandson Jacob; his parents-in-law, Clayton and Vera Hesslink; and his brother-in-law Ronald Haartman.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Hesslink; his children, Dirk Roerdink (Sherri), Daniel Roerdink (Lisa), Jodi Kruse (Michael) and Jennell Eissner (Joseph); his brothers, Wayne (Char) and Phil Roerdink (Karen); and his siblings-in-law, Jay Hesslink (Bonnie), Gloria Portschy (Harlan) and Beverly Haartman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Oostburg Christian School or Friends of Kohler Andrae-State Park.
