With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David F. Hammersley of Oregon, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fay Hammersley Jr. and Martina Hammersley (Miller); and his brother Jim Hammersley. He is survived by : his wife Judy Winans; his sons, Ron Hammersley (Bob Schreier) and Duane Hammersley (Kay Nachreiner); his grandchildren, Carson Hammersley (Lexie Zegunis), Kyle Hammersley, Kailey Hammersley (Grant Pongrants) and Lela Nachreiner; his great grandchild Kaiden Hammersley; and his siblings, Richard Hammersley, Keith Hammersley (Nancy), Mary Lou Disch (Chuck), Patricia Gullickson and Doris Jenni (Dan).

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of one's choice in David's name would be appreciated by the family.
