She was predeceased by: her parents, Elaine Berglin and Herman Berglin; her parents-in-law, Ann and Louis Freis; her brother Don; and her sister-in-law Tracy Freis.

She is survived by: her husband Darrell Freis; her children, Derek Freis (Dakonya) and Katie Heitz (Zain); her grandchildren, Carston, Brant, Trevyn, Declan, Nolan Freis, Greyson and Jaxon Heitz; her brother Bob Berglin (Shelly); and her sister-in-law Cheri Leiphart (Tim). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
