He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martinson and Mary Martinson (Gehin); and his siblings, Donald Martinson (Carol), William Martinson (Corrine), Kenneth Martinson (Vicki) and Patty Owen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Martinson (LuAnn Stelter), Bob Martinson (Sharon), Dick Martinson, David Martinson (Wendy), Gary Martinson (Rebecca) and Mary Lou Hodel; and his stepsisters, Janet Cramer and Beverly Edwards.
