He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gerlach and Jeannine Gerlach (Clough); his brother-in-law Denny Trickel; and his sisters, Linda Regich and Tina (Steve Udelhofen).
He is survived by: his wife Angela (Fiore); his children, Michelle Krieg and William "Vito" (Claire); and his siblings, Diane Ernst (Edwin), Sherry Trickel-White (Bill), Tammy Danz, Mary Gerlach, Ronda Jasper, Ron Gerlach (Missy) and Sylvan Gerlach. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Mother of Consolation Catholic Church (651 N Main St, Oregon, WI 53575). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St Marys Cemetery (N4401 US-45, Eden, WI 53019). A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:40 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holy Mother of Consolation Catholic Church (651 N Main St, Oregon, WI 53575).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Bill's name to Holy Mother of Consolation Catholic Church or Dane County Humane Society.
