He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Monteith and Genevieve Monteith (Johnston); his sisters, Janice LeCander, Kathie Anderson (Paul) and Linda Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Evelyn Halverson.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Halverson; his children, Eric Monteith (Julie), Aimee Roddel (Travis) and Howie Monteith (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Kate Schuler (Trevor), Logan Monteith, Karly Monteith, Emily Roddel, Isaac Roddel and Mason Montgomery; his brothers, Jim Monteith (Dianne), Joe Monteith (Donna) and Mike Monteith (Kele); and his siblings-in-law, Howard LeCander, Lyle Halverson (Ruth) and Colleen Benson (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
