Darrell left this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 57, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Hobby and Anne Hobby (Strivling); his nephew Calvin Glover; and his pets, Dooley and Ginger.
He is survived by: his children, Jayma Hobby, Karen (Ortiz), Serena Hobby (Jessica Morelock), Jordan Bridges, Janet Holland (Kyle) and Sue Hoefs; his sisters, Delphine Jones, Evette McDay and Shinika Hobby; his nephews, Kalen Hobby and Milton Drain; and his niece Aubrianna Drain. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
