We bid farewell to James S. Koerner Jr. of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 3, 2025 at the age of 79. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Koerner and Mary Koerner; and his son Ethan James Koerner. He is survived by: his siblings, Debra Gerondale (Mike), Douglas Allen Koerner (Lisa) and Lisa Marie Schryock (Donald); his children, Monte Aaron Koerner, Shenlee-Rae B Sires and Andrea M. Koerner; his significant other Diane M. Koerner (Hodges); and his significant other's children, Severin J. Koerner and Ashley M. Koerner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael's Catholic Church (830 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (830 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). The military honors will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the King National Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of floral expressions, memorials in Jim's name may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Organization or to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
