He is survived by: his wife Gina; his son Jim Schumacher III (Jenni); his grandchildren, Lucy and Harrison; his children, Ted Schumacher (Nicole) and Annie Letkiewicz (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lily and Sydney; his daughter Stephanie Kilkenny (Kiley); his grandchildren, Evan, Makenna, Kayhler and Riley; his sister Peggy Schumacher; his sister-in-law Annie Fox; his siblings, Sandy Protz (Dan), Mike Schumacher (Sharon), Pat Schumacher, Paul Schumacher (Patti), Dan Schumacher and Tim Schumacher; his aunts and uncles, Dick, Bev Malnory and Caroline Schumacher (Tom); and his cousin Roxi Lemieux. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
