It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Thompson (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leon Thompson to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Leon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thompson and Beulah Thompson (Johnson); and his siblings, Judith, Hollis and Richard Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy. He is also survived by children, spouses, and his beloved grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Martin Luther Church (1526 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the LaSure's Banquet Hall (3125 S Washburn St, Oshkosh, WI 54904).
