He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Olson and Frank Olson; his wife Evelyn Johnson; his son William; his siblings, Glen (Curley) and Marjorie; and his nephew Robert.
He is survived by: his sister Fern Trierweiler (Olson); and his children, Lawrence (Inez), Ron (Sandy) of Osseo, James (Gail) of Eau Claire, Scott (Terry) of Hixton and Kathi (Robert Tollefson) of Eau Claire. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
