He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy Volk and Normadine Volk (Nicolaus); his brother Daniel Volk; and his brother-in-law Paul "Junior" Stumpner. He is survived by: his siblings, Beth Hamm (George), Jane Schiszik (Victor), Linda Schiszik (Randy Kaiser), Tom Volk (Shari) and Julie Stumpner. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and many friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home (607 E 4th St, Owen, WI 54460). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
