John Carter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John Carter of Oxford, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carter and Edna Carter (Zephrin); his wife Sandra "Sandy" Golla; and his sister Jeanne Golla (Duane). He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey (Katie) of New Berlin, James of West Allis and Jesse of Oxford. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Packwaukee (504 Main St, Montello, WI 53949). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the First Presbyterian Church of Packwaukee, P.O. Box 15, Packwaukee, WI 53953.
