With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Peterson of Pardeeville, Wisconsin, born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by : his uncle Norman Hanson; and his grandson Zander Haas. He is survived by : his parents, John Peterson and Nancy Peterson (Arlie); his wife Amy Peterson; his children, Eric Gust (Desiree Bishop), Rachel Ballweg (Keith Ballweg) and Jennifer Haas (Aaron Haas); his grandchildren, Bryce, Brooke, Anastasia, Savanna and Katerina; his stepmother Teresa Peterson; his siblings, Debra Peterson (Leroy), Jason Westphal (Maria Sippel), Kevin Peterson (Megan Czajkowski) and Mark Peterson (Bridget Kapler); and his parents-in-law, Gerald and Mary Gust. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

When the pandemic hit this spring, he wrote a note on the counter for his wife, I am a Hero!
