Donald B. Ewelt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald B. Ewelt of Pardeeville, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald B. Ewelt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Ewelt and Frances Ewelt (Wacker); his brother Norbert Ewelt; his son-in-law Thomas Gugel; and his in-laws, Ruby and Fred Gnewikow.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gnewikow; his children, Kathy Gugel, Greg Ewelt, Terri Martinson (Rick), Bobbi Ewelt and Susi Holm (Bear); and his grandchildren, Jay Gugel (Cindy), Andrea Gugel, Dan Gugel (Maggie), Nik Ewelt (Abby), Erika Ewelt, Rebecka Kreger (Hunter), Alex Kimball (Adam), Kevin Martinson, Dugan Ewelt-McAuliffe and Finn Holm. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pardeeville Senior Center (113 Industrial Dr, Pardeeville, WI 53594).
