She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Roecker and Frances Roecker (Boeck); her husband Allan Zook Sr.; her son Daniel Scott; her parents-in-law, Max and Annette Zook; her stepmother-in-law Clara; her brother-in-law Richard; and her great grandchild Mitchel Simonson.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Stanley (Charles) and Allan Zook (Cindy); her grandchildren, Trina Schultz (Brian), Nathan Simonson, Kelley Bressers (Devin), Cassandra Sparks (Dustin) and Emma Zook; her great grandchildren, Ryan Schultz (McKenzie Brown), Spencer Schultz (Paris Spencer), Keira Schultz, Nathanel Simonson (Lexi Newman), Jessalyn Simonson (Spencer Smith) and Declan Bressers; her sister Sue Hamel (John); her niece Vicki Bublitz (Scott); her great-nieces, Meghan Kelley (Sam), Melissa (Brody Sjoberg) and Molly Mueller (AJ); Quinn and Camron.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sonia's name to St. John Lutheran Church.
