He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Yunk and Rose Yunk (Woodie); his former wife Barbara Schiltz; his wife Bernice Hilgart; his sons, Wayne, Richard Jr. and Thomas Yunk; and his siblings, James, Pete, Ernest, Edward, Robert, Benjamin, Grace Brimstein and Marian Grover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosemary Theriault (Ron) of Prentice and Lauri Hilgart (Peter) of Park Falls; his stepdaughters, Pamela and Tammy; and his sister Marge Mrotek of Oak Creek. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Birch Street Funeral Service (350 Birch St, Park Falls, WI 54552). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
