She was predeceased by: her father John Wisniewski; and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her mother Rose Marie Wisniewski (Gniedziejko); her husband Danny; her daughters, Alicia Ellison (Brendon Sperandio) and Marissa Hinckley-Barnes (Reed); her grandson Carmen; her siblings, Dennis Wisniewski (Donna), Barb Hammarstrom (Cliff) and Cynthia Wisniewski; and her sister-in-law Kathy Wisniewski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mary has requested donations be made in her name to the St. Francis de Sales School Angel fund. In life, Mary was known for helping others, and that legacy continues through a final, selfless gift of whole-body donation to the Medical College of Wisconsin.
