She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter McTrusty and Amy McTrusty (Fraker); her husband Harold Schlais; her siblings, Everette McTrusty (Carol), Florence French (Glen), Laverne "Curly" Nettleton (Wayne), Serle White (Robert) and Elsie Dooley (Walter); her siblings-in-law, Elmer Schlais (Phine), Clarence Schlais (Eunice), Raymond Schlais, Ethel Bierstaker (George) and Evelyn McCorkle (Don); and her son-in-law Timothy Streeter.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Judy Gotz) of Rhinelander, WI, Penny Streeter and Sherry Labbe of Marquette, MI; her grandchildren, Joseph Schlais of Atlanta, GA, Lisa Schlais of Lansing, MI, Kristy Godbout (Matt) of Berlin, NH and Jeremy Labbe of Marquette, MI; her stepgranddaughters, Marie Voskuhl (Will), Alice Wendt (Chris), LeeAnna Streeter of Marquette and Sarah (Chad Coughlin) of Ishpeming, MI; and her great grandchildren, Layla, Laney Godbout, Logan Streeter (Rosemarie), Aaron LaJoie (Makenze), Emily Sebeck (Chris), Sydney Voskuhl, Austin Wendt, Hannah Rosten, Ryan Voskuhl, Timothy Wendt and Phoebe Hendrickson. She is also survived by one great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred for Grace Lutheran Church.
