He was predeceased by : his sons, Jimmy Drees and Jerry Frewerd; his brothers, Billy and John; and his sister-in-law Marion Drees.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia; his daughter Bonnie Bodway (Blaise); his grandchildren, Josh, Nicole, Alisha Jessel and Kristina Druckrey (Joshua); his nephew Kenny Laessig; his brothers, Henry Drees and Chuck Drees; and his sister-in-law Holly Drees.
