He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carlson and Alpha Carlson (Gould); his wife Audrey Koskiniemi; and his siblings, Kenneth Carlson and Diane Bremer.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Farrand (Daniel) and Bryon Carlson (Mila); his grandchildren, Alexandra Farrand, Kristoffer Carlson and Vanessa Husemann (Justyn); and his close friend Judith Mitrovich.
