He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Reckling and Odny Reckling (Hjelmeland); his parents-in-law, Wallace and Gladys Holmberg; his brother Mark; and his sister-in-law Barb Reckling.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Reckling (Holmberg); his children, Erika Durheim (Jason) of Hutchinson, MN and Fredrik William Patrick Reckling Jr. (Jessica Schick) of Oconomowoc, WI; his grandchildren, Reese and Dax Reckling; and his siblings, Aleta Chossek (Walt), Kristine Clemens and Petrina Gillman (Bryant). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
