Thomas E. Metternich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas E. Metternich of Phillips, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Katherine Shain (late John); his brothers, John Metternich (Judy) and Richard Metternich; and his siblings-in-law, June Eickstaedt (late Gene) and Charles Gielow.
He is survived by: his children, Michael, Robert (Debra), James, David Metternich (Amber DiGiorgio) and Kristin Kroeninger (Christopher); his grandchildren, Allison Miazga (Nick), Caroline Kroeninger and Jarrett Metternich; his siblings-in-law, Judy Ann Lowry (late James) and James Gielow (Nancy); and his wife Barbara. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
