It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Rexford Cady (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Cady and Rex Cady; his sons, Alan Cady (Cindy) and Scot Cady; his brothers, Roland and Kenneth; and his in-laws, Roy and Mary Anklam.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Anklam); his children, Kevin Cady, Kathy Crook (Dean), Kelly Rennert (Eric) and Sally Brewer (Doug); his sister Marge Lee (Ron); his sister-in-law Ruth Cady; his grandchildren, Cole Cady (Carrie), Mandy Basham (Jamie), Jessica Ricca (Matt), Kyle Cady (Gina), Joshua Crook (Elizabeth), Jesse Crook, Emily Kolar, Jacob Crook (Amanda), Jozie Rennert, Brady Rennert, Elizabeth Stangel, Bryce Rennert, Johnny Brewer (Kate), Abigail Brewer, Rachel Brewer, Ryan Brewer and Joe Phillips (Bridget); his close friends, JD Hogg, Barb, Jerry, Gloria, Doug, Butch, Heidi, Louie, Shelby, Bonnie and Junior; and his caregiver Whitney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

“Always a smile and quick with a joke. Kind, and caring, What a trip My dad (Roland Cady) Kenneth Cady, and Gordy made. All grat pranksters and musicians. So talented. They brought so many people joy through their jokes and music. Many great memories growing up with my cousins going across the street to play at the school. Fishing with all the boys. And what great parents Gordy and Bev are. Uncle Gordy you will be greatly missed and the world is a better place because you were in it.”
