He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hinz and LaVerna Hinz (Zimdars); his parents-in-law, Monroe and Doris Rabe; and his brother-in-law Monroe Rabe, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hinz; his brothers, Mike Hinz (Karen), Lynn Hinz (Sue) and Keith Hinz (Karen); his aunt Marlene Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Rabe (Sally), Lester Rabe (Linda), John Rabe (Pat) and Mary Sue Rabe. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (430 W Griswold St, Ripon, WI 54971). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Liberty Prairie Cemetery (6571 WI-44, Pickett, WI 54964).
