He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Jeffrey Simonson (Susan), Vincent Simonson, Giles Simonson and Laura Hitchcock; his sisters, Phyllis Linnell, Sonja Lyngen (Dale) and Annabelle Stenberg; and his grandchildren, Tara Plastina (Darren), David Huhn, Elaine Ramos (Eli), Donnie Hitchcock, Nicole Swegle (Mike), Suzann Walton (Brian), Jarrett Sullivan (Ashley) and Adam Sullivan (Kaylee).
