He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Rieder and Bertha Rieder (Ring); his daughter Minnie; his siblings, Donna and Gilbert; and his parents-in-law, Margie and Hank Kessler.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Fitch (Rieder), Rodney and Karen Walz (Duane); his siblings, Stanley, Dennis (Carol), Thomas, Mary Schutz (Pete), Philomena Endres (Paul) and Arline Hess (Joe); his stepsons, Shane and Benjamin Smith; and his wife Donna. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, along with many friends.
