It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadine I. Schaefer of Platteville, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernadine I. Schaefer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Dalsing and Louisa Dalsing (Kaiser); her husband Elmer Schaefer; and her siblings, Irma Wiederholt (Joe), Dolores Brandt (Donald), Myrtle Weber (Art), Delmar Dalsing (Liz), Almira Weber (Harold), Marie Bechen (Merlin) and Agnes Kahle (Lowell).
She is survived by: her children, Louann George (Tom) of Dickeyville, WI, Marcia Burton (John) of Lancaster, WI and Randy Schaefer (Gail) of Lancaster, WI. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
