Doris M. Clare Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, at the age of 88, Doris M. Clare of Platteville, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris M. Clare to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Hawkins and Dorothy Hawkins (Bialucha); her husband Bob; her sons, Jeffrey Hale, Douglas Hale and Dennis Clare; and her sister JoAnne Magnuson (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Deb McWilliams (Harley), Donna Stuessy (Verne), Daniel Hale (Jane), Denise Clare (Timothy), Patrick Clare (Barbara), Colleen Clare (Larry) and Kelly Cowlin (Tom). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Grant County Hospice or to the charity of your choice in Doris' name.
