He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Hartz (Lisa) and Brian Jeffers (Megan); his grandchildren, Will Hartz, Alex Hartz, Courtney Knockel (Mitch) and Sam Jeffers (Mariah); his great grandchildren, Aaron, Mira and Cecelia Jeffers; his niece MaryAnn Greenwood (Cliff); his nephew John Hartz Jr.; and his great-niece Samantha Greenwood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
