It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley L. Clayton of Platteville, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Clayton and Betty Clayton (Godfrey); his sister Nancy Weinbrenner; and his sister-in-law Judy Willis. He is survived by: his wife Joan Bloom; his daughters, Kim Piazza (Dan) and Kelly Marquart (Mark); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brady Piazza, Hannah and Emma Marquart; his siblings, Diana Ward, Barb Bauer (Jim), Carol Johanning (Ken), Kristy Budde (Don), Keith Clayton (Lynette), Dwayne Clayton (Debbie) and Craig Clayton (Cindy); and his brother-in-law Craig Weinbrenner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
