It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma L Stanton (Platteville, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Butson and Ina Butson (Craven); her husband Wilbur; her daughters, Carol and Sharon Reed; her sons-in-law, Bill Elwell and John Wacker; and her siblings, Clyde Butson and Betty Baker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Stanton (Jim), Nancy (Tom Butson) and Peggy Elwell; her grandchildren, Julie (Reed), Troy Adrian, Lori (Reed), Phil Garthwaite, Todd, Carrie Reed, Kerry, Erin Stenerson, Kirk, Lisa Stenerson, Shannon, Amy Butson, Kim (Butson), Scott Mcphail, Josh, Jen Butson, Kelly (Butson), John Herbst, Denise Valley (Elwell) and Jesse Elwell; her son-in-law Jim Reed; and her sisters, Ila McKee and Edna Relic. She is also survived by 22 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gathering Point (6732 WI-81, Platteville, WI 53818).
