Janice Grider Obituary
We announce the death of Janice Grider of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 77. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Chalker and Norma Chalker (Wilson); and her siblings, Kathy Kolakowski and Steve Chalker. She is survived by: her children, Rod Grandy (Amy) and Adriana Grider; her stepdaughter Niecey Grider; her grandchildren, Chris, CJ, Amaya and Alana; her brother Lewis Chalker (Mary); and her sister-in-law Margarete Wanley (Chalker).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pointe Church (900 Lewis Ave, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's name may be made to the Pointe Church Food Pantry, 900 Lewis Ave., Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096.
