He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Blackburn and Mary Elizabeth Grace (Flynn); his brother Stanley Filipiak; and his son Joseph Patrick Grace. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Krey; his daughters, Christine Simon (Ken) of St. Paul, MN and Susan Grace (Michael Brooks) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Erin Simon Skoglund (Chris Skoglund), Megan Simon, Adeline Brooks and Henry Brooks; and his cousin Elissa Gratton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
