It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Ashmus of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Ashmus; and his stepfather Dan Iverson. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Iverson (Rock); his wife Janis Ashmus of Pleasant Prairie, WI; his sons, Jacob and Matthew Ashmus; his brothers, Bill Ashmus (Kim), Rick Ashmus (Cindy), Jim Ashmus (Beth), Rob Ashmus (Ann) and Jeff Ashmus (Janet); his parents-in-law, Bill and Judy Royce; his brother-in-law Bryan Royce (Betsy); and his pet Leo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (7117 14th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143).
