He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith; his daughter Alexandra Maykut; his grandson Levi Newell; his stepson Christopher Smith (Marisol); his siblings, Kimberly Stewart (Jim) and Patrick Maykut (Jen); and his brother-in-law Peter Lee.
