He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Knopf and Lillian Knopf; and his sister Ramona Gottlieb. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gullickson; his son Travis Knopf (Michelle); and his granddaughter Madisen Nuñez (Alexandro).
