He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schick and Erna Schick (Fischer); his siblings, John, Richard, Earl, Carl, Henry, Darlene Schick Harting, Pearl Heikens, Lois Schick and Jean Newton; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Newton, Harlan Heikens, Joanne Schick and Mary Schick.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Haebig (Kevin), Bobbie Schick (Ashley), Randy (Cherie) and Mark Schick; his grandchildren, Randy Jr., Halle, Kirsten, Savana, Tammy, Kendra and Cassidy Schick; his great grandchild Kaydelyn Jade (KJ); his sisters, Joan Fogt (Jack) and Lavonne Hougen; and his sister-in-law Peg Schick.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Township Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (207 Randall St, Reinbeck, IA 50669).
